What area does West Texas Master Movers service?

We provide services throughout the state of Texas, if you are relocating from or to the Midland-Odessa area. We can also service the surrounding area competitively. Give us a call so that we can discuss your needs. We will let you know if it would be more cost effective to find a moving company closer to your destination.

Who am I speaking with when I call your main number?

You will speak directly to Valerie or Josh Vela, the owners of West Texas Master Movers! We will be your move coordinators. Feel free to reach out at any time, throughout your move process. We will assist with scheduling dates and times, additional moving services (packing, unpacking, etc.) and any questions you may have about the process. How much does it cost to move?

Every move in Texas is different and can be influenced by various factors such as location, nature, and types of service(s) requested. Our transparent pricing means you will know exactly what you are paying for, with no hidden costs, so you can budget appropriately. Our approach has provided repeat bookings consistently throughout our years servicing West Texas. You can pack yourself, we can pack some of your belongings, or we can pack everything. Our goal is to personalize and uncomplicate your move process based on your needs.

Prices are based on shop-to-shop timing. We charge hourly for all jobs, subject to a minimum of 2 hours. 

For local moves, we do not charge for the cost of the truck/trailer or fuel. 

For long distance moves, we provide FREE quotes prior to scheduling, so we can be as accurate as possible.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, credit, debit, Venmo, PayPal, & Cash App. 

*All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% surcharge on the total amount of payment. 

Is there a required deposit? What happens if I need to cancel?

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit required, in order to reserve your scheduled service(s). The deposit will be applied to the total cost. 

If you have to reschedule, we ask that you let us know at least 48 hours prior, so that we have an opportunity to fill the spot you left vacant and get you rebooked to your requested date & time. 

The deposit is non-refundable, if you cancel your scheduled service. .

When do I pay for my move?

The $100 non-refundable deposit will be applied to your total cost. You pay the remaining balance once the service has been completed.

How far in advance do I need to book?

This really depends on the time of the year. We are busiest on weekends and during the summer. If you are moving during that time, we suggest contacting us as soon as possible and ideally with at least two weeks in advance of your expected move date.

Life is hectic and things can come up at the last minute. We understand that completely. So if you need same day help, don’t hesitate to give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate your needs so you aren’t in a bind.

Do you offer packing services and packing supplies?

Yes. We offer complete packing services for residential and commercial moves.

Can my movers assemble and/or disassemble furniture?

Yes, in fact, sometimes furniture disassembly is required in order to move a furniture item safely. Often this includes removing mirrors from dressers, taking apart beds, removing table legs, etc.

Everything that we disassemble will be put back together by our team at the other end. Our movers come with their own fully stocked tool bags so they have all the tools they need and these services are included in our hourly rates. We will even remount your television, hang your artwork, and hookup your appliances, if requested.

What might I overlook during this relocation process?

Notify family, friends, family doctor(s), school administrators, etc. of your upcoming change of address, so you don’t miss out on anything important.
